Daily Maintenance and Precautions for Impact Testing Machine Series

The Liangong impact testing machine is used to measure the resistance of metal materials to impact under dynamic loads, in order to determine the properties of materials under dynamic loads. The absorbed energy of the sample is obtained by displaying the difference between the pre impact potential energy and the residual potential energy after impact on the dial using a pendulum.

The impact testing machine is a precision instrument. Before use, it is necessary to carefully read the user manual and follow the following precautions for daily operation and maintenance to ensure equipment accuracy and extend its service life.

Working conditions

(1) Within the temperature range of 10-35 ℃ at room temperature;

(2) Relative humidity not exceeding 85%;

(3) In an environment without corrosive media around;

(4) Installed on a concrete foundation with a thickness of not less than 150mm or fixed on a foundation with a weight greater than 1400kg;

(5) Adjust the levelness of the installation reference surface on the machine base to within 0.2/1000.

Use and Maintenance

1. Run the machine idle during startup to check if it is functioning properly..

2. Choose the pendulum according to the energy requirements. When replacing the pendulum, first unscrew the compression nut, insert the disassembly tool into the slots on both sides of the pendulum rod plug, turn the screw, and press it against the end face of the pendulum shaft to exit. Then, replace it with the required pendulum.

3. The contact length between the pendulum hook and the pendulum mechanism should be about 3-4mm (it has been adjusted at the factory, and users do not need to make further adjustments). If adjustment is required, the position of the hook needs to be moved.

4. When the pendulum is not yet attached to the hanging mechanism during the swinging process, the staff must not move or work within the swinging range of the pendulum to avoid danger caused by accidental power failure.

5. The bearings at both ends of the swing shaft have been lubricated before leaving the factory, and the user does not need to lubricate them. After repair and cleaning, 1-2 drops of sewing machine oil or clock oil can be added. Add plain soil or butter to the remaining power bearings.

6. After the experiment is completed, press the "release pendulum" button, and the pendulum will automatically stop when it falls to the vertical position, cutting off the power supply.
