Daily Maintenance and Precautions for Electronic Universal Testing Machine Series

The electronic universal testing machine is used for static performance testing and analysis of metal and non-metal (including composite materials) in terms of tension, compression, bending, shear, peeling, tearing, holding, relaxation, reciprocating, etc. It can automatically obtain test parameters such as ReH, ReL, Rp0.2, Fm, Rt0.5, Rt0.6, Rt0.65, Rt0.7, Rm, E, and can conduct tests and provide data according to relevant domestic and international standards such as GB, ISO, DIN, ASTM, JIS, etc.

The electronic universal testing machine is a precision instrument. Before use, it is necessary to carefully read the user manual and perform daily maintenance according to the following precautions to ensure equipment accuracy and extend its service life.

Working conditions

1. Within the range of room temperature of 20 ℃± 5 ℃;

2. The relative humidity should not exceed 85%;

3. In an environment without corrosive media, vibration, or strong electromagnetic field interference;

4. Install on a stable foundation or workbench and adjust the level;

5. A stable power supply system, the fluctuation range of power supply voltage should not exceed ± 10% of the rated voltage, and the frequency fluctuation should not exceed 2% of the rated frequency. Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can be used;

6. The power supply should have a reliable grounding, with a ground resistance of ≤ 5 Ω.

Installation and commissioning

1. Pay attention to protecting the equipment and ensure that the tilt angle of the equipment does not exceed 30 ° during transportation to avoid bending the lead screw caused by tilting or tipping over of the equipment;

2. The installation of the testing machine must ensure sufficient space for personnel to operate;

3.To avoid harm to the body or damage to the testing equipment, the equipment must be grounded;

4. When the device is powered on, do not install any electronic components. If you need to unplug the socket, please turn off the power of the host and computer first;

5.Before the experiment, please check if the upper and lower limit positions are appropriate and if the emergency stop switch is turned on;

6. Connect the testing machine and computer power, please preheat for fifteen minutes before conducting the test;

7.When adjusting the position of the sample, do not use the "fast up, fast down" button;

8.During the experiment, all parts of the operator's body must be kept away from the operating space of the testing machine, and cannot be placed around the fixture;

9.During the experiment, if there is any abnormality in the test speed, please press the emergency stop switch to avoid damaging the equipment.

Maintenance and Care

1. After the experiment is completed, power off the host and computer in a timely manner, clean them up, and keep the testing machine clean. If not used for a long time, it is recommended to perform rust prevention treatment on fixtures and other components, and cover the equipment with dust-proof cloth;

2. The computer equipped with this machine is a dedicated machine, and it is recommended not to use it for other purposes such as internet access to avoid affecting software operation;

3. Screw and nut should be lubricated at least once every six months;

4. The back of the wedge-shaped jaws on the equipment should be lubricated and maintained with graphite powder irregularly, and lubricating oil on the back of the wedge-shaped jaws is prohibited.
