This sample preparation machine adopts hydraulic transmission to ensure the stability of the broach operation and the geometric accuracy of the gap. This product is equipped with a double-station broach, which can process two sample gaps at the same time: one V-shaped (depth 2mm) and one U-shaped (depth 2mm, 3mm) (two V-shaped or two U-shaped gaps are also available) . No matter whether the V-shaped or U-shaped notch is processed, there is no need to change the tool. It only takes 8 seconds to process the sample notch at a time. The broach speed is adjustable (5 to 12 seconds), and the operation is simple and reliable. The broach is made of W18Cr4V material, which has high hardness and good wear resistance. Each tool can process more than 20,000 samples. It has a unique lubrication device to prevent damage to the broach, and is equipped with a trash box inside, which is easy to clean up iron filings.

The notch sample preparation machine meets GB 2106-80 "Metal Charpy (V-notch) Impact Test Method" and GB/T 229-2007 "Metal Charpy Notch Impact Test Method". If the structure is changed and related parts are replaced, it can meet the requirements of American Standard ASTM E23, European Standard EN 10045, ISO 148, ISO 83 and other relevant international standards.
